Classical Women Conducted by Z. Kiniorska with V. Michaud on saxophone

Zofira Kiniorska conducts a concert entitled ‘Classique et engagé-e-x!’ (Classical and politically engaged!), devoted to women composers. For the occasion, the Polish conductor has devised a programme ranging from Mel Bonis to Sandrine Rudaz, with saxophonist Valentine Michaud as soloist.

Renaud Capuçon conducts Maurice Ravel with Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne

Conducted by French violinist Renaud Capuçon, the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne performs music from the inter-war period. This evening is dedicated, among others, to Maurice Ravel (1875-1937), whose 150th birthday is being celebrated on 7 March 2025. With ‘Le Tombeau de Couperin’, the composer glorified the Grand Siècle while honouring the memory of his comrades who had fallen at the front.

Pierre et le loup : Avec Jean Reno et Renaud Capuçon

For Peter and the Wolf, premiered in 1936, Prokofiev chose the form of a symphonic tale, featuring a narrator alongside the orchestra. A unique work in which each instrument embodies a character. Renaud Capuçon conducts the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne, while Jean Reno takes on the role of narrator.
