Juliana lives under the weight of grief for her mother, who has lost a son. Obsessed with protecting her only remaining daughter, her mother turns love into a prison. But Juliana, amidst suffering and loneliness, finds in the piano a way to resist, express herself, and seek her identity.

Amid technological transformations and the disappearance of video rental stores, Gilberto Petruche keeps Charada alive, the last rental shop in the outskirts of São Paulo. With more than 30 years of history, the place is a symbol of resistance and now also operates as a cultural center.
