Romeo and Juliet

Poor and unhappy, Rafael leaves Pauline and tries his luck at the roulette, but loses his last coin. Fate gifts him with the miraculous "Shagreen leather" that fulfills all wishes. In his new, luxurious life he wins the heart of wonderful Foedora. But with the power of the leather comes a rule: for every fulfilled wish it becomes shorter, and so does the life of its owner. Using the leather abundantly, Rafael soon spends his time.

The comic adventures of the residents of a village in Podravina region in Croatia.

A man reads a horror novel late at night. His imagination runs away with him; he thinks some dripping beverage is blood, is frightened by his own bear-skin rug, and faints when he sees a shadow of himself in a noose-like tangle of his phone cord. The ambulance arrives and finds the most threatening thing is a kitten in a sock and a shelf of horror novels. They cart off the novels and leave the man.

Harassed by the day, he runs away in the evening from people and town. He crawls into his little room to sleep. The dream is bringing him the limitless and quiet spaces of solitude. At last, he is alone and free. But the solitude engenders the fear.

The poetical composition of the photography aims to express, by means of the shadow-and-light play, the characteristic surroundings of the life in the marshes near Osijek in Croatia.

The boy and the girl are suddenly separated from the picture book by a hand, which tears off a page from the book and makes a paper airplane in which the boy remains trapped. In her attempt to help the friend, she couldn’t achieve anything if all the children’s drawings in the city did not help her.
