Somebody Cares

Lenny Upton combines euthanasia with his used furniture business to provide suicide assistance to melancholy customers with a death wish. Armed with a briefcase full of weapons and an eye for antiques, he custom designs a personalized death experience for his one-time clients. All sales are final in this short film that takes a darkly comedic evaluation of the value of life and used furniture.

During an island backpacking trip with her boyfriend, Tara finds a Go-Pro that reveals a missing influencer's selfie-turned-tumble off a seaside cliff. A disagreement over what to do with the morbid footage ends the fighting couple's relationship and leads Tara to a well intentioned but disastrously unwelcome encounter with the dead influencer's hostile mother.

A short documentary by Brendan O’Connell in which he goes into Walmart stores to paint the aisles he walks and the people he sees. O’Connell says “whatever your views are, positive or negative related to Walmart, it just is. From an artist’s perspective, addressing this environment that is an undeniable component to contemporary life is exciting.”
