B.U.N.I.T.A.S.

Marcelo, a 40-year-old dandy, has a memory like no other. Monologuing between coffee and gay hookups, he holds court on a wide range of topics: his status, his Catholic grandmother, and his unusual sexual fantasies. At times, he takes himself for Genghis Khan or poet-philosopher Novalis.

Based on family interviews and records of his trajectory, the director André Medeiros Martins performs an analysis of his mother's life history while documenting his own journey through self-knowledge. André is an artist obsessed with sex and who tries to find the reasons for these obsessions in stories about his late mother. From the exhibition of his works and reports from family members, he creates this auto-fictional documentary.

Five artists - a deaf person, two people with low vision, a person in a wheelchair and a limping person - are faced with a lot of questions, sent by the public, that reveal a whole imaginary around their bodies.
