The King's House

After the 'Empty Paper Incident' on the skywalk in Thailand 2020, the director turned to explore a high school with a new learning center in the library. What remained were only the remnants of historical traces—old, decayed, strange, and seemingly alive and speaking objects within the school, and outside the library. These remnants reflect certain stories, feelings, and perspectives on the political events and what happened in Thailand during the 2020-2021 period.

Disappeared

The young man, living far from his birthplace, cannot remember his entire 19 years of growing up for reasons unknown. The only thing he remembers clearly is his lonely childhood in the house where he grew up and the photographs with his family at the zoo. The only evidence of his memories is the remnants of the house's walls and the scars on his body that have not faded, which are connected to his past.

When the Wind Blows

Since the death of her husband, Kok, Nia has inexplicably developed Alzheimer's disease. She had the opportunity to return to her old house, where she had lived with her husband for many years, to visit her closest friend Saw, whose house was next door. They spent a long time seated at the dining table in Saw's home, talking about their health and the life they have lived and lost.

The Angel from Below

Fai and her mother wait hopefully for help from her father, who has traveled far to the big city to seek aid from those in power to save their family from the encroaching wildfire. Meanwhile, her mother is teaching Fai to dance as an angel to ask for blessings from the gods, believing that the wildfire is a divine punishment from the heavens.

In the maze of monochrome images, as the consciousness awakens in confusion one night, a young male student's confession reveals how he was slapped in the face by an adult, who's his girlfriend's mother, and it has become his trauma that has kept him up all night for the past several months.

Before Sunset

A young woman jolted awake in the dark of night to the sound of footsteps from her grandmother, who had passed away, in the old wooden house. This stirred memories of their time together before everything was lost to the sound of gunshots—bang, bang—within the house.
