Maca is leaving in a week to study abroad away from her city, Seville. What she once envisioned as the future is now an imminent reality. Maca's inertia suddenly stops after having to face a host of new fears that will falter the decision that was once firm.

Under the roofs (Bajotecho) is a miniseries that tells, in an autofictional way and using resources from both nonfiction and fiction films, the testimonies of three people who have suffered, in one way or another, problems with their housing. It is three separate chapters, which tell the story of Isabel, who lived in a foster home run by the Catholic Church; Josefi, Juan and Chari, who have suffered from abusive mortgage clauses and evictions; and Marc, a young squatter who lives in a self-managed squatter social center located in a building owned by a private bank. These stories converge at the end, where the boundaries between reality and fiction are blurred.
