Short Cuts : The Exorcist

A young woman comes across animations on the Internet that have clearly been created from her private selfies. A stranger with the same name confesses to identity theft. But death is quicker than the answer to the question: “Why?”

During a train ride, Ariel and Paul pass the time sketching their deepest fears. Their game takes an unexpected turn when Gilda, a mysterious passenger, intrudes on their exchange. Yet, her relationship with fear seems far less innocent than their playful drawings.

During a very hot summer, Emma (15) is doomed to boredom at her grandparents's house. She's dying for something to happen. At the edge of a pond, she hides to observe The Young Man. She develops a brief but intense obsession for this fantasized stranger.

The bedroom is an empty place while the garden is full of huge and weird familiar entities. In these spaces, the astonished character begins a disturbing self-analysis.
