When his father dies, Pierre comes back to his hometown and finds himself drawn back into the environment he had fled years ago.

Jonas premieres his first feature film in the theatre he grew up with. A film about friendship, dedicated to his friends. Yet, the latters do not show up to the screenings... Every night, Jonas comes back hoping to see the three reserved seats filled.

In a small French village under German occupation, Marceau and Gustave, two carefree and resourceful young friends, lead a mundane life. One day, a trip that promised to be ordinary gradually takes a dramatic turn... Between camaraderie and rising tension, their journey will lead them to a decisive choice, where the innocence of youth brutally clashes with the harshness of war.
