As student protests sweep through a deeply divided Belgrade, a police officer recognizes the young man he is beating during a violent clash. The encounter haunts him, growing into an obsession that forces him to confront the fragile line between professional duty and personal conviction.

The Batrovci border crossing is known for its seemingly endless line of trucks, which feels like an unchanging constant. People come and go, cargo crosses borders, but the line remains. Truck drivers spend days, even weeks, confined to their cabins, waiting for time to pass.

Milutin and Mica returned, after forty years, to the school in Orlja Glava where they had begun their teaching careers. The crumbling walls and dim shadows inside the building stirred memories of former students, as well as a way of teaching that seems to have vanished forever.
