A group of Georgian scientists traveling to Poland for a scientific symposium are housed in an old fortress . A middle-aged man , a descendant of Polish nobles , falls in love with one of the members of the group . Love turns the previously modest , inconspicuous scientist into a charming woman . After returning from a business trip, his lover soon visits him in his homeland .

Three Houses

hree stories happening in three different centuries, revolve around a mysterious painting entitled "Two Owls". In the 19th century thread, a man living in a big mansion is worried about his brother whose wife died a while ago. The brother however behaves as if she was still alive. A befriended psychiatrist is being called for help in order to examine the phenomenon in long conversations. He has to recognize however that the man's behavior doesn't harm anyone. He actually offers a painting to the doctor which his wife allegedly just finished: it's called "Two Owls". The painting reappears in the midst of World War II. A woman finds it in the apartment of her husband's lover. The general of the Red Army was just found dead there. He died in the arms of his concubine. Torn between ambiguous feelings of grief and anger the widow has to make a decision. She also needs to retain her composure as the military police is already waiting outside. The last story happens in present time.

The President

The President is the story of a dictator of an imaginary country in the Caucasus, who is forced to escape following a coup d’état, and begins a journey to discover his country in the company of his five-year-old grandson. The two travel across the lands that the President once governed. Now, disguised as a street musician to avoid being recognized, the former dictator comes into contact with his people, which he comes to know from a different point of view.

Kukaracha

A screen adaptation of the novel of the same name by the well-known Georgian writer Nodar Dumbadze. This story about love and loyalty, bravery and betrayal, began shortly before the Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Georgy Tumurashvili, a militia man, was affectionately called “Cucaracha”, by both the kids and the adults. He was a conscientious divisional inspector investigating various incidents, calling to order local hoodlums and settling family arguments. Once he helped out Inga who fell prey to Murtalo, a bandit and murderer. The young people fell in love with each other. But Murtalo decided to take revenge on Kukaracha…

Wake Man

Rezo is a 70 year-old resident of the old people's house. He is tired of the lack of proper food at the institution, so he keeps notes from the local obituaries. He attends wakes of unknown individuals and stays for the dinner, which is the traditional feast that takes place after the funeral. At one such feast Rezo meets his former student, whom he taught Georgian dance in the 90's.

Delirium

The absurdity of war, where people lose the ability to communicate and moral values. The story of a woman and man who have lost the sense of reality, in Ionesco's absurd genre. Despite the constant conflict, they can no longer stay calm together. The war is over but they stay in a separate, isolated world - where is no fear but the silence.
