On the days before a departure, the mysterious characters of Rubicón take us around the streets of a town, any old town, in an unknown country. The burning light
of the afternoon, a suitcase that is packed, whisperings… A film suspended in time, like a sense of dizziness before the departure.

Once again, the night sets in the city. Two young people look through faces on a phone, deciding and agreeing. ’He’s hot, him too.’ The decision is made before sunrise – a biology student with beautiful curly hair and shiny skin.

The postcard is diffuse, but in the memory there are flashes of clarity. They appear in the scene: they chat, they meet again and they recognize in each other's eyes and words. Expectant for what may happen in the future, they decide to talk about the past to understand the configuration of the present.

The Great Kan has dreamed of a city, and describes it to Marco Polo. Guided by the testimony of its old inhabitants, we travel across an imagined, impossible city. An empty restaurant, a rainy street, a construction city and the constant presence of smoke, fire and ash.

You sure know the legend of the Flying Dutchman. It is the story of the ship on which the curse of not being able to reach port fell and that has wandered at sea since time immemorial.

Ofelia is painter who struggles with her work as she lives in a stagnant relationship with her husband. The fact that he goes out everyday and she stays inside without being able to paint, only makes her feel more alienated. But one day she recieves a strange phone call, which will make her face the inner conflicts she’s trying to hide.
