Cut and Paste

Nawara works as a housemaid for a family closely linked to the Mubarak regime. On the eve of the 2011 revolution the family decides, for safety, to leave the country temporarily and ask her to look after the villa. Flush with cash for expenses, Nawara calls her fiancé Mustafa and the two are soon enjoying a taste of life at the top. Her journey from the alleys of her poor neighborhood to the luxury compound brings with it the worries of the people and their simple dreams—and an experience she could never have imagined.

This comedy series tells the story of Nader, an ex-ambassador, who decides to leave the political field and start his own restaurant in a tourist hotspot where he cooks the meals himself.

Ahla el-Awqat (The Best of Times) tells the story of a successful middle-aged woman (Salma, played by Hanan Tork) who is left to live with her step father after a not-so-tragic accident that claims the life of her mother. Salma goes on a quest to find out the identity of the sender of mystery letters and packages. One letter includes a picture of her and her two best friends from school (played by the Hend Sabry and Menna Shalaby), whom she has not seen for 14 years. Reunited, the girls embark on the quest of finding the identity of the sender.

Three middle-aged women, Farida,Sherine and Laila, suffering from insomnia and difficulty sleeping, are brought together by fate to go through experiences that will help them overcome their problems and move on to a better life.

On the eve of the 1919 revolution in Egypt, the friendship between Houda al-Najjar, who likes boxing, Petro, who likes to sing, and the good worker of the printing press, believes in revolution. Fatima, the sister of Houda, is in love with Hussain, and they marry. The revolution takes place, and Houda dreams of shaking hands with its leader, Saad Zaghloul, and dreams of participating in the 1924 Olympics as a boxer. Hasan is imprisoned for his involvement in resisting the British occupation, and Huda is married to a neighbor of Hanifa. Hassan was killed by the Israeli occupation forces and Houda was able to participate in the Olympics

A satellite channel called (One TV) announces a competition called 'Silence', a reality TV program that depends on the commitment of participants to be silent for 30 days to win a prize of one million pounds.

Dr. Layla Sallam, freshly healing from two tumultuous marriages, finds herself drawn to Omar, a complex patient battling mental illness. As their bond deepens—blurring lines between love and healing—Omar's quest for truth challenges Layla to confront her own demons.

The series revolves around a group of young people who live in the same hostel in Tahrir Square, and experience many funny and comedic situations during their stay together.
