Disaster strikes in a small American farm town when teenager Cody Rose becomes the victim of a grain entrapment accident. As corn becomes quicksand inside of a 50-foot tall silo, the town locals must put aside their differences to save Cody from drowning in the crop they harvest.

Harvey and Janet Stevens are living the perfect life in the perfect house or so it seems. Janet has been secretly having an affair with Harvey's best friend Frank. What they don't know is Harvey may not be as in the dark as they suspect.

Silo: Edge of the Real World is a meditation on life in a small Midwest farm town. When a grain entrapment shocks their small community, Adam Fox, a young farmer and Clay Althoff, a senior in high school, both consider the risks and rewards of a corn farmer's life.
