The lives of an elderly couple are changed when a girl is abandoned near their home. Isolated from the world on a farm in the countryside of Pernambuco, the two gradually realize that the changes brought by the child are starting to separate them, and may be irreversible.

José is a 68-year-old farmer. His routine is divided between taking care of the farm and his husband Luiz, 71 years old, with Alzheimer's. In their daily routine and interaction, the elderly couple shares the adversities of life until something unexpected happens to José.
