Friends

Kirill, a psychology student, is having a hard time being "befriended" by Sonya. They used to be close friends, but secretly Kirill was head over heels in love with her. Karlygash (translated from Kazakh as "swallow") lives with her husband Ilyas and father-in-law on a horse farm, lost in the Kazakh steppe. Rudolf, a German traveling in Central Asia, comes to a small village in Kazakhstan. His arrival changes the young woman Karlygash (the name translates from Kazakh as "swallow"), and a mutual interest arises between the young people.

The old man lives alone only with his work, he is a switchman in a remote Kazakh steppe. The only time when he feels happy is the night when he sleeps and he dreams of a beautiful girl. One day, not far from the railway, an old man sees a car, inside which a girl from his dreams finds himself.
