The Dog

Miguel Castañeda, a mexican scientist, tells the story of his stolen glory in his past as a migrant in the US, as well as all the obstacles he faces in his quest for justice upon his return to Mexico.

Emmanuel receives the news that his father won't be able to pick him up after school, so he must return to the taxi that his mother requested. However, not realizing it, he gets into the wrong car, which leads him to put his life in danger. He manages to escape from the fake driver and when he gets home he reflects on his own life and his faith in religion.

In a dreamlike wandering, the city becomes a constant rendezvous. In the hustle and bustle of strange streets, the protagonists face disillusionment and life’s obstacles that make them believe that their desire for freedom is only possible in dreams.
