A Modern Fable

Tells about a little violinist who played so wonderfully that his violin was considered magical.

In the Wild West Saloon, the Black Gunslinger has just robbed two wretches at cards. Bar singer Kitty helps him with this dark work, but quickly falls out with him over the division of the spoils. In the fight, Kitty takes all the money from Black and would have had a bad time, if the White Avenger didn't come in at the right moment, and defeat the Black villain. White rescues Kitty, but instead of thanks he receives a loud slap from her. Kitty still prefers her Black friend and leaves with him.

A richly illustrated cartoon film that enlarges on man's capacity to foul his own nest, and to ignore it. Made by a joint team of Canadian and Yugoslav animation artists, the film transmits its warning with unflagging humor, imagination, movement and design. In between animated sequences Dr. Fred H. Knelman, Professor of Science and Human Affairs at Concordia University in Montréal, comments on the import of what is shown and on what lies in store if more responsibility is not taken on a global scale to conserve what is left of our vital resources and usable environment.

Ogg is a dreamer, a bizarre, unconventional being who enjoys playing and constantly makes up new situations. His true friend Eva is in vain trying to explain the real purpose of the object he is having fun with. In Ogg’s hands the umbrella will remain practically unused, but it will nevertheless turn into an extremely inspiring toy.

A phantasmagoric story about an undertaker and his wife who live alone because everyone avoids them. The undertaker cannot break human prejudices and superstitions, and in desperation he invites his former customers, the dead, to be his guests and to banish loneliness from him and his wife.

An alienated and lonely man goes to take a rest and dreams about the same torment and feeling of inability to bear the burdens of life that torment him even when he is awake. He dreams of his ups and downs, as well as fears which turned into symbols that also came from the rigid everyday reality.

In a follow up to Dušan Vukotić's 'Čarobni zvuci' (Magic Sounds), the violinist returns to bring Spring into life. Animated film by Aleksandar Marks and Vladimir Jutrisa.

One lonely person wanders an absurd world searching for happiness.

A honeycomb in a beehive. A rhythmical collective of bees and the expectation of the birth of a baby bee. Immediately after birth, her collision with the World begins. She has to learn discipline and join the collective. Her mischief and curiosity make her look irresponsible, because every new situation drags her into an adventure someone needs to save her from. Different situations, different problems. She learns about life independently. Life kicks and beats her, so she finally settles in the bee collective.
