Friends who grew up in an orphanage and, after entering adult life, engage in petty fraud and face the problems of this easy way to make money.

The anthology consists of 4 short feature films: "Postscriptum", "His Father", "The Gift" and "The Black Garden".

For Farhad, a 35-year-old bank employee, Ilaha's disappearance becomes the greatest test of his life. As he searches for her, he gradually uncovers the hidden sides of both Ilaha and himself.

Vafa, who works as a maid in the house of an influential businessman, decides to commit a robbery to start a new life. To do this, she turns to her brother Vidadi, who has not been able to see his son for more than a year due to unpaid child support and has grown tired of such a life. After convincing her brother, they also suggest involving their step-cousin Javad, who has been imprisoned several times for theft. During the robbery, Javad and Vidadi break the door and get stuck in the house. After that, events unfold even more dramatically.

The feature film reflects the terrible days of the tragedy and the suffering experienced through the example of Durdana Aghayeva and her brother Elshad Aghayev, who witnessed the Khojaly genocide and were subjected to severe torture for 8 days in Armenian captivity.

“A Lonely Person’s Monologue” is a classic father-son story. The author enriches it with additional details and meanings, taking it beyond the frame of domestic drama and placing the complex father-son relationship in the context of war.
