Homecoming

Four childhood acquaintances from different walks of life reunited in their friend's resthouse, revealing their struggles to fit in the society.

In a secluded area in the City of Manila, a kapre working as a security guard watches over a closed establishment for the night. As he smokes, he is interrupted by a jolly, teenage boy asking for food and coins. The kapre tried to shoo him away but the boy stayed. Later on, as the night progressed, the presence of each other filled in their loneliness and they found solace from this simple encounter.

After finding out that their family’s matriarch has only little time left to live, they use love as their ultimate compass to navigate the ordeal—gradually testing and reshaping their bonds.
