El Gabinete del Doctor Mojado is the 31 Minutos pilot made to win funding from the Chile's Consejo Nacional de Televisión in 2002. This was an extremely preliminary idea of what the program would be, which at the time was hosted by a fish from a fish tank.

Tulio and his friends want to participate in the Puppeton festival with the group Los Ratoncitos, but they don't have the voices to sing. To do so, they must find the witch so she can cast a spell on them again.

Juan Carlos Bodoque plays Miguel de Cervantes; Tulio Triviño plays Don Quixote, Juanin Juan Harry plays Sancho and Patana plays Pantonia, the hidalgo's niece. Thus, the universe of the acclaimed children's program 31 Minutos is transferred to the work of Cervantes in a theatrical parody for children and adults that recreates essential elements of the story, maintaining some of its most innovative aspects: the author as a character in the work, the existence of the book within the same novel, etc. The puppet version of the literary classic is quite faithful to the original text, since it preserves entire dialogues from the novel as a way of valuing its validity. It also rescues themes such as fantasy, the necessary madness or eccentricity that takes us out of everyday life and inspires us to fulfill our dreams despite the difficulties; friendship and love as values ​​worth defending tooth and nail, and humor as a trench against pedantry.

The program focuses on the adventures of the team of a low-prestige newscast, where something unexpected always happens. Their notes, while some are quite ridiculous, others are educational and leave a message both explicitly and implicitly. The news program is hosted by Tulio Triviño.

Mounted on a modern set almost 32.8 ft, the show recreates the original spirit of the popular puppet news show. Set in 1932 Los Angeles, the series focuses on the origin story of famed defense lawyer Perry Mason.
