A group of people setting out to find a previously assumed land and upon reaching it, not knowing how to deal with the customs of the place, have to deal with all the consequences.

In this affectionate, leisurely paced comedy, an Odesa policeman is out walking his beat when he discovers an adorable infant abandoned in a cabbage patch. He does his duty and takes the baby to an orphanage, but later he and his wife, who have an unusually affectionate and cozy relationship, decide to try and adopt the little one. What they must go through to accomplish that goal is anything but straightforward.

Lena and Pasha come to the girl's hometown to apply for a divorce. Pasha does not understand the motives of divorce and is very upset about it. But in the Registry office say that you need to wait 3 months. Young people decide to stay in the city for this time and agree not to meet and not to communicate. They are both arranged for the construction of a large road, and from that moment their fate changes dramatically…
