The Funny Half Show

The Funny Half Show is a funny program produced by Hong Kong Television Broadcasts Limited from 1990 to 1991. The first series began on January 6, 1990, and aired on Emerald Channel every Saturday at 8:35 pm, with a total of 13 episodes. The content of the program is mainly funny and satirical, and it was very popular when it was broadcast.

Iron Road

Iron Road follows the journey of Little Tiger (Sun Li), a child whose quest for her long-lost father takes her from a fireworks factory in China to a remote construction camp in the Rockies. Lured by the myth of 'Gum San' - Gold Mountain - she and her countrymen come to Canada by the thousands to do the back-breaking work of blasting through the mountains to lay track. She soon learns that railroads only bring fortune to the few and that every mile of track is purchased with fear and death. As treachery and prejudice threaten her, Little Tiger must use her wits and courage to fulfill her quest and honour her friends who died in this foreign land.

Shadow Cop

Hsiong, a young narcotics officer, hooks up through comic accidents with a party girl named Witty. She shops, plays mahjongg, and charges him for every kiss, and they are in love. When he dies in the line of duty, his ghost stays around for a few weeks, hoping to get Witty's attention, trying futilely face to face and by phone, and then through a relative of hers who claims to have occult powers. Through this shadow cop's investigations, it comes to light how he died and where $10 million is that was the cause of his death. Before he disappears into the void, they leave each other final messages. Can their last wishes come true?

The Killer's Love

A killer fails to assassinate his target and attempts to escape from pursuing bodyguards. With the help of a woman he runs into in the hotel, he is able to escape detection by pretending to be a gigolo. Later, he becomes a tenant in her house. Still believing him to be a gigolo, she dislikes him at first. However, they eventually fall in love and he reveals his true past to her. He gives up his life as a killer, but must face one final confrontation from a rival assassin out for revenge.

After having sex with a Chinese vampire he leaves, however his blood is so sweet the Chinese vampire is sent to Hong Kong bring him back. While in Hong Kong he begins to show signs of vampirism and his friends have to try to save him.

A young, unsuccessful singer, after committing suicide, is to be reincarnated, this time into a musical family.
