A fragmented nocturnal tale of four young adults in a decadent Rome. Romance and brutality, sweetness and suffering, music and silence as they realize that they have embarked on a path in life that has now reached a dead end.

A father is haunted by a recurring nightmare in which his son kills him. Life on their farm becomes increasingly difficult.
