In the ancient theater of Delphi, against the backdrop of the ruins of the Temple of Apollo, musicAeterna, conducted by Teodor Currentzis, performs Ludwig van Beethoven’s 7th Symphony, in conjunction with a new choreography by Sasha Waltz and her company.

Brian Eno and Roger Eno have been recording together since 1983. This unique musical event not only sees the two brothers performing live together for the first time but is one of very rare occasions that Brian has ever performed live in front of an audience. The release of this contrapuntal masterpiece (as Bruckner, not without pride, referred to this work) is part of Daniel Barenboims Bruckner cycle with the renowned Staatskapelle Berlin.

As the leader of the Il Gardellino ensemble, harpsichordist Alexander Grychtolik performs and conducts Bach’s “Passion Oratorio,” a project that had been abandoned by the cantor. Based on the libretto written by the poet Picander, the musician conducted extensive research to reconstruct the score, parts of which were later incorporated into the “St. Matthew Passion.”

The Belgian vocal ensemble Vox Luminis compares two sacred works from the German Baroque repertoire, both celebrating the resurrection of Christ: the Easter Oratorio by the Lutheran Johann Sebastian Bach, which premiered in Leipzig in 1725, and the Missa Paschalis by the Catholic Jan Dismas Zelenka, which premiered in Dresden in 1726.

A Swan Lake is a contemporary adaptation of the classic Swan Lake choreographed by Johan Inger.
