Desperate Housemen

Theatrical adaptation of the film of the same name. In a fair and funny one-woman show, dancer Andréa Bescond recounts her tainted childhood and the consequences for her adult life. A moment of pure emotion, an unforgettable journey that touches our hearts. Odette is eight years old when Gilbert, a family “friend”, drags her into secret tickling sessions. The rest is collateral damage. The child becomes a dancer, which will save her. Misunderstanding from family and friends, difficulty building a life...

The Carnival of the Animals returns in a brand new version, directed by Gabriel Alloing, combining music, storytelling, and live visual creations. Composed by Camille Saint-Saëns in 1886, this iconic work is performed here by ten musicians from the Ensemble Est-Ouest and accompanied by original texts by Alex Vizorek, written especially for young audiences. Recorded at the Théâtre Libre in Paris's 10th arrondissement.

Alex Vizorek has a lot to say about art. He has opinions on music, sculpture, cinema, and even modern art. The comedian takes his audience into his flamboyant world, where Magritte, Bergman, and Visconti rub shoulders with Pamela Anderson, Luis Fernandez, and Paris Hilton. His mission: to make people laugh while teaching them something. Or is it the other way around? A flurry of puns, paradoxes, and wordplay for an hour of hilarious sketches. For the occasion, Alex Vizorek has surrounded himself with fellow comedians: Kody, Guillermo Guiz, PE, and Fanny Ruwet.

Recorded in théâtre des Lices in Albi, 8 February 2014 A 20 year old girl, who lives with her father, widowed for twelve years, decides to leave the nest. She is in love and in love with freedom. With this departure, which is close to her heart, she wishes to conquer her autonomy and move in with her other half. But it is a delicate moment to manage for the pair, hitherto very united. How to get out of the fusional and loving relationship which links her to her father, a hard and fragile man at the same time, who does not intend to let her go like that? She then offers him a market ... To your Happiness, to your Laughs, Ready! Go!

After two shows where he delighted his audience with (falsely) misogynistic reflections, Olivier de Benoist returns to the stage, this time decided not to attack women anymore. Finally, less than usual ... With 0/40 years old, where he tells his life from birth to today, the humorist wanted to abandon the macho character who had made his success. But for lack of common thread and inventive staging, the show turns out to be wobbly. Not bad, certainly, with even a few good moments, but not convincing either. If the initiative was laudable, the result is likely to satisfy neither the frustrated fans of not finding everything they liked nor those who wanted to discover Olivier de Benoist in another register. Recorded in La Halle aux vins, parc des exposition, Colmar.
