The story about the poor Polish Moritz Rabinowitz who fell in love with the town of Haugesund, Norway, and became a wealthy clothes salesman, and was deported by the Nazi regime when they took control over Norway.

Eleven year old Maria has lost her little brother to cancer. Having disappeared into herself, her mother is no longer there for Maria and her father struggles to keep the family together. Maria meets Jacob, who is the same age as she, but with a completely different attitude. Jacob is outgoing, exciting, funny and has wisdom way beyond his tender years. He gradually pulls Maria out of her shell and enables her to come to decisions which will affect her entire life.

A classic from 1998. With the "original cast", Terje Formoe as Captain Sabertooth, Janne Formoe as Sunniva and Morten Usterud as Pinky. Fredrik Hognerud Træland plays Joachim, the kid who doesn't give up on his dream of the one and only King of the Sea.

This mellow comedy is the third entry in filmmaker Anja Breien's "Wives" series and stars the same three actresses who appeared in the first two. This episodic film begins with flashbacks to the 1975 film Wives and scenes from 1985's Wives: Ten Years Later. Now ten more years have passed and they are comfortably ensconced in middle age. They have gathered to hold a surprise birthday for Kaja aboard an Oslo streetcar. The three haven't seen each other in ages and much of the story focuses on their discussions of their disparate lives. Every word, smile and tear they share affirms the depth of their lasting friendship.

Raised in a close-knit community, he bears the scars of a childhood haunted by rumors. During World War II, the Russians and Americans become a presence in this remote landscape, which will have far-ranging consequences. Victimized by rumor and Norways shifting political allegiances, Simon is denied the final reconciliation he longs for with his community and with himself. When the Berlin Wall falls, his life is once more turned upside down.

It is about a film director who has been engaged by the principal of a high school to be film teacher. The teacher comes into conflict with a talented but arrogant and deeply lonely student, who sabotages the teaching and are unable to get to school. But because the student shows film talent the teacher is trying to encourage student and get him to wake up and take school seriously. It should prove to be much harder than he thought.
