Sur les traces du règne animal

An exclusive documentary on a leading artist in the French music scene: Mylène Farmer. From her first album, "Cendres de Lune," to "Interstellaires," which went straight to number one, the singer has become the symbol of an entire generation. This documentary traces the 30-year career of this artist, who cultivates mystery around her life, through archives and previously unseen testimonials from those close to her. Absent from the media scene but very close to her audience, we will attempt to understand how the myth surrounding this atypical artist was built.

Thirty years after the release of the album "D'eux", Céline Dion agreed to speak out and reflect on this iconic work. Between intimate confidences and surprising revelations, the singer offers us privileged access to this pivotal moment in her career and a unique moment in her life.

As James Bond's interpreter since "Casino Royale", released in 2006, Daniel Craig has, over the course of his five appearances as 007, transformed the character, giving him an unprecedented thickness, as well as a certain darkness. With the help of archives, excerpts and interviews, here is how he did it.

The comic art of Louis de Funès (1914-1983), like that of Totò and a few others, ultimately transcends the limits of the films in which he appeared, thanks to the dynamic expressivity of his persona. Drawing on contributions from critics, scholars and the actor’s colleagues, this documentary deciphers the keys to the de Funès phenomenon, intelligently analysing the peculiar characters of his facial and corporeal mimicry, the plasticity of his gestures, and the doubling of character and creator (in the sense that, once he became successful, ‘Fufu’ effectively became the author of the majority of his films, often limiting the director’s role).

Brice Dellsperger's reprise of Brian de Palma's Passion

Brice Dellsperger's reprise of Brian de Palma's Dressed to Kill

For Body Double 32, Dellsperger takes the second scene from Carrie. Played by androgynous model Alex Wetter, a happy gang of girls are whooping it up under the showers in a high school locker room where the rows of lockers seem to double up and form a space-time loop. The loop comes to an end as, one by one, they disappear into the steam and turn into infinite variations on one of their number : Carrie. Still under the shower, Carrie herself seems unaware of what is going on around her. With a touch of sensuality the camera suggests that the child is becoming a woman. Terror-stricken, Carrie sees that her hands are covered with blood.
