All That Matters Is Past

In the middle of her wedding reception, the doubtful bride Unn Tove finds a newborn baby girl abandoned in the hotel restroom. She turns her over to Child Services. 16 years later, a young and energetic girl shows up at her door step. It's Rosemari, the baby from the wedding. Together, they start investigating the circumstances leading to Rosemari's birth. They unravel a story about a young couple's unrestrained love, an eccentric ex-boxer with a taste for erotics, and a mother covering up her life's biggest secret. "Framing Mom" is a touching and funny story about how sex, lies and biology created a beautiful flower, Rosemari.

As young children, half-siblings Axel and Yanne are adopted to Norway. They are separated on arrival, him to material wealth on Oslo's west side, her to an average family on the east side. In contrast to her younger brother, Yanne remembers their journey to Norway, but she has no idea where he might be now.

Fredrik wants to impress his cousin Klara by being Harry Houdini, but Klara wants to keep Fredrik on the leash. They compromise by making up a game called ”The Houdini-slave”. The Houdini-slave has to do dangerous things, and gets buried in the sand on the beach. There is no way he can get up. But when Klara comes back, he is not there.

A movie inspired by eight Norwegian political parties, written by six writers and directed by nine directors: a man gets a nasty surprise skinny dipping, a cow eats a cell phone, a lesbian couple loses a child, a blind girl sells dubious lottery tickets, a boy falls in love, a man picks up a hitchhiker, three girls get help from a man in pajamas, and nine old men find a young girl stuck in a swamp.

Oslo, Norway. After living a traumatic experience, Anna and her son Anders move into a huge apartment building. Feeling constantly terrified and insecure, Anna buys a babycall to monitor Anders while he sleeps.

Following her son's death, Victoria moves to a small community to work as a doctor at the local clinic. She attempts to forget and move on with her life but finds it impossible when a local boy is found dead in the snow and Victoria must tell the boy's parents. Police quickly explains it as an accident but Victoria finds that there is something strange about the whole affair.

Eduarda (Eddi) wants to become a woman, but what makes a woman? Maybe breasts help? She goes on holiday with her family and meets Lukas. Unfortunately, she is not the only family member who wants to feel attractive. Are we really defined by what others see?
