Rainbow Dick

A romantic comedy about Liv, who is at the beginning of her 20s. She is very close to her parents and working in the family greengrocer business when, against all expectation, she falls in love with a spirited and somewhat older rainbow girl, Andrea. Andrea claims to be suffering from stress. But in reality, she is heartbroken and has sought refuge at her uncle’s apple plantation. Liv’s encounter with Andrea becomes the catalyst for a divorce, the loss of a friendship and an identity crisis that ultimately shatters their love. But in a rebellion against her parents, Liv realises that love is mutable and that a family may assume many forms.

Mira, a twelve-year-old girl, loves to make arts of recycled trash and spends hours together with her best friends Naja and Louis. One day everything changes when Naja becomes best friends with the new cool girl in class. Suddenly Mira feels left out and starts to wonder if she can stay true to herself, when everything and everyone around her seem to be changing. Should she skip her upcoming arts exhibition and instead try to be more like the other girls in class, talking about love and falling in love? Growing up can be a challenge sometimes…

About the fight for being something, and become something, but especially about standing at the edge and discover that you forgot to be someone. About the fear of feeling indifferent, and the need to belong somewhere. We follow 21-year-old Asta, who "temporarily" returns to her parents' home in the countryside, after living in Copenhagen. That means a reunion, but also a whole new meeting, with family and friends, both new as well as old. The "hillbilly"s shows up in her life again and confronts the prejudices. The meeting with her hometown turns Asta's relationship with herself, her family, friends and especially love upside down. It forces her to take responsibility and challenges her to discover who and what is hiding behind the Instagram filter.
