You Keep Me Awake

Set in 19th century Vienna, Ignac Semmelweis, a short-tempered but passionate doctor, delivers babies and carries out autopsies on a daily basis while looking for the cause of puerperal fever, the mysterious epidemic that decimates patients in the hospital.

Objects collided or something had broken apart, rather than collided, and indeed, they were very homogeneous, approaching slowly, in a calculated manner. This signaled some kind of war, a threat of war. We should have been the ones to report on this war.

Zsuzsa, a furniture shop assistant, escapes into her daily routine to avoid her monotonous life without human connections. One day something happens that makes her question her choices and reminds her that she is the one responsible for her own happiness.

24 year old Ádám lives the calm life of a small-time pot dealer in his late-grandma's apartment, in the outskirts of Budapest. Since he left home, he created himself a low-key but functional life, which no one can really disturb. No one but perhaps Bence, his 14-year-old half-brother who just left home and is looking for refuge at Ádám’s place.
