A simple Russian guy, Daniil, returns home to his beloved wife after a long business trip, only to find himself surrounded by empty walls and strange sounds.

The southern Russian hinterland. A schoolboy named Roma, being very late for classes, gets run over by a black SUV in front of witnesses. But no one is in a hurry to call an ambulance and the police.
