A short film about two best friends trying to get by in a disingenuous world.

A young woman awakens in the basement of a derelict halfway house, unable to escape the memories of its former occupants. The sun never rises. Morning never comes. Trapped in an endless night, she settles into a landscape where memory, place, and long-forgotten histories begin to bleed into her reality.

A video mixtape for the chronically online. A sensorial acid bath.

After a romantic interest vanishes without explanation, a woman becomes convinced he is dead. With only her phone as a companion, her katabasis through online spaces leads her to new spiritual languages emerging in a technological age.

Wickedness loves company and leads others into sin.

Here begins the land of phantoms.

A hard drive is discovered, its forgotten videos becoming the starting point for an inquiry into memory, ownership, and the reasons we create. Moving between personal archive and video essay, the silent narrator reflects on authorship, copyright, and the shifting value of images in the digital age.

And from the nature… a sign.
