Dutta Vs Dutta is a 2012 Bengali film directed by Anjan Dutt. This is Anjan Dutt's semi-autobiographical film. Most of the film has been shot in a house of Amherst Street in Kolkata. Anjan has described this house resonated feel of his old house of Beniapukur.

The protagonist's job is driving across the country screening family planning films in villages, often meeting with unpleasant responses from his target audience. His faith in life is sustained by his love for his dream girl — a beautiful actress he saw crying away in a film five years ago and has haunted him ever since. Writer-director Buddhadev Dasgupta won the National Film Award for Best Direction.

Meghnad Badh Kavya is based on the demise of Meghnad (a.k.a. Indrajit), son of Ravana, the king of Lanka, as narrated in the classic Sanskrit epic Ramayana. Michael Madhusudan Dutt, an ardent admirer of both European and Indian literature, drew inspiration from Milton, Tasso, Homer, Virgil, Valmiki, Vyasa, and Kalidasa for this epic. The poem is divided into nine cantos, each depicting different events. It begins with the death of Beerbahu, Ravana's son, and concludes with the sati-daha (the ancient Indian custom of burning widows alive with their deceased husbands) of Prameela, Meghnad's beloved wife.
