A salesman and his son sexually abuse several generations of an indigent family's women as payment for debt. Janni must see his mother, sister, niece and wife all being exploited, and the family grow with the abuser's kids.

A comedy about taxi driver Bengt, who finds himself in trouble when he is unable to repay a loan to loan shark Kurt. At the same time, researcher Johan receives an urgent assignment from his professor, which is complicated by the fact that he unexpectedly has to take care of Bengt's daughter Pia. Their lives become intertwined in a series of comical and dramatic events that take place in the same apartment building.

The documentary alternates between the filming of many of the well-known scenes, clips from the film and interviews with the actors such as Lasse Åberg, Jon Skolmen and Birgitte Söndergaard, as well as the creative forces behind the camera, including producer Bo Jonsson.
