A young bride living in the popular district of Mallasine Hammam-Lif receives a call from her husband, an illegal immigrant in Italy, informing her that he will send her a money order by post. The young woman begins to live her new rich life while her neighbors change their behavior towards her and start treating her like a queen. Good fortune begins to show its face to the bride but will things stay that way or will her happiness be turned upside down?

A week of vacation, a couple on the verge of separation, and two children who refuse to choose between their parents… Under the bright Tunisian sun, in the coastal town of Hergla, conflicts take unexpected turns and emotions shift in surprising ways.

Ramzi is a young Tunisian with Gilles de la Tourette syndrome. His only remedy is cannabis, a prohibited substance in Tunisia. He fights for the right to a treatment license, and discovers the world of theatre.

The events take place within a dramatic framework, as the series addresses the most prominent negative phenomena that have swept Tunisian society in recent years, which have particularly affected the youth group.

“Familia GRANDE” is a comedy miniseries that presents the daily life of a Tunisian family and the way it deals with misinformation. It also exposes the way information is received, how it affects their behaviors, emotions, and highlights how it should be discussed and analyzed.
