A woman is fighting against illiteracy in one of the most Patriarchal communities in a rural area of Sistan and Baluchestan Province, southeast of Iran. She tries to bring all women to her classroom, but there is a heavy wall of ignorance in front of her.

"Hook" follows two brothers from Sistan and Baluchistan who enter the field of boxing to realize their dreams and face many difficulties along the way.

Barakat, a Baluchi teenager, dreams of cinema and the idea of making cinema a reality. His obsession is centred on Bollywood images, which, for him, represent the ultimate expression of his aspirations but also an answer to all sorts of questions he has been asking since childhood.
