Music show that tells the story behind modern pop classics.

Swedish hard rock took its first big step abroad in the early 80s, when a young Yngwie Malmsteen sent a demo cassette across the Atlantic and became a guitar god overnight. Now Swedish hard rock bands perform all over the world on the biggest stages. This is the story of how Swedish hard rock became an export success.

A documentary about the story of the Swedish pop wonder.

"Stad i ljus," "Säg mig var du står," "Goliat," "Inget stoppar oss nu," "Händer mot himlen," "Utan dina andetag," and many more. Swedish pop history is filled with songs that have made the leap from the charts to the Swedish national soul—songs we sing in karaoke bars on Fridays, in the stands at football matches on Saturdays, or in church choirs on Sundays. Together with the artists and songwriters who provide the soundtrack to our lives, we will tell the stories you might not know behind the songs you most certainly recognize.
