To celebrate Maury Yeston's 80th birthday, a dream collaboration of cast members from past productions of "Grand Hotel," "Phantom," "Titanic," "Nine," and "Death Takes a Holiday"! Alongside our gratitude for the 20th anniversary of the Umeda Arts Theater, they bring you a “truly unforgettable moment.”

During the 18th century, at the height of Rococo culture, Giacomo Casanova charmed the ladies and enjoyed his earthly affairs as he traveled across Europe. Set in Venice, the city of water against the Adriatic Sea, a new story of adventure unfolds for Casanova, who dreamed of freedom and longed for true love.

Women and wine. Always seeking pleasure. Captivating the hearts of countless maidens is the playboy, Don Juan. One night while enjoying the company of a woman as usual, Don Juan angers the Grand Master, the woman's father, which leads to a duel. Don Juan emerges victorious but the Grand Master's dying words are: "Someday love will punish you..." Before long, those ominous words manifest themselves as a curse and an apparition haunts Don Juan. After the incident, unheeding the curse, Don Juan continues to lust insatiably. But as it just so happened, by fate Don Juan meets Maria, the daughter of a sculptor who is creating a statue of the slain Grand Master. And the "curse of love" begins to afflict Don Juan...

FFF - Ludwig van Beethoven instigated a musical revolution of such historical proportions that we still know his name today. And yet the man bearing that name was visited by misfortune of all kinds: lost love, loneliness, hearing loss... Even so, he was able to produce his Ninth Symphony featuring the singing of "Ode to Joy." But how? Silk Road - From west to east, from east to west, the Silk Road, a trade route carrying culture, civilization, and people, connected Western Europe with Asia over land and sea. A bandit preying on merchants traveling the route obtains a blue diamond. However, it is in fact the lost eye of the Indian goddess Sita. The jewel has changed hands on countless occasions, at times bringing good fortune to its owner, at other times tragic doom. Having roamed the Silk Road since the long distant past, the Eye of Sita invites the bandit on a journey through the copious memories dwelling behind its dazzling facets.

The story of the transformational Maximilien Robespierre is of a man fueled by a burning passion for revolutionary ideals that eventually engulfed him in their flames.

YEARS OF PILGRIMAGE: Franz Liszt was a virtuoso pianist that took early nineteenth-century Europe by storm. He conquered the Parisian salons with passionate performances marked by excellent technique and handsome features that became the downfall of many women. But what was he truly after? The musical narrates the story of Liszt's early years, and his pilgrimage across Europe in an attempt to find a place where his soul could belong, focusing on the romance with the Countess Marie d'Agoult, and his greatest friend and rival, Chopin. FASHIONABLE EMPIRE: A revue that transforms the stage into the "Empire" where the pioneering fashionistas of our time gather. The stylish array of scenes will enchant the audience, at times with the cool atmosphere, and at times with the hot beats. While focusing on the sophisticated and metropolitan appeal of top star Yuzuka Rei this revue also shows off the unique, scintillating members of Flower Troupe through many groovy scenes.

Takarazuka Revue musical performance based on the life of Arthur Conan Doyle.

Set in London, a city shrouded in mist and fog at the end of the 19th century, a musical based on the Sherlock Holmes. People's daily lives are threatened by a serial killer, Jack the Ripper, but Holmes deduced that a criminal organisation is involved. The murder was masterminded by Moriarty, a genius mathematician, at the request of a government official. Meanwhile, Holmes is reunited with opera singer Irene, an unforgettable woman who outwitted Holmes once before.

Black Lizard Great detective Kogoro Akechi and the enigmatic female thief Black Lizard. Within their thrilling game of pursuit and evasion, a solitary, unspoken love gradually blossoms between hunter and hunted. Diamond Impulse A shimmering diamond, bursting with the power to awaken countless emotions and impulses in us. This is a sparking stage performance that mixes IMPULSE—ephemeral feelings: the passion and love of those who keep on singing and dancing; desire and envy—with the transparent serenity and seductive scintillation of a diamond.

Musical based on the life of British historical figure George Bryan "Beau" Brummell, followed by a revue that offers a “prayer” through songs and dance scenes bursting with heartfelt wishes, joy, and blessings. Takarazuka Moon Troupe 2012 production based on Mishima Yukio's novel Spring Snow. Set in the Taisho Period. A tale of the forbidden love between the heir of a marquis, Matsugae Kiyoaki, and his childhood friend the beautiful daughter of a count, Ayakura Satoko.

"Grand Hotel" is a musical set in 1928 Berlin, depicting the varied lives of guests at a luxury hotel over a day-and-a-half. The Broadway production that opened in 1989 with Tommy Tune as director-choreographer earned rave reviews and went on to win five Tony Awards. The same show was later put on in London and Berlin as well. Suzukaze Mayo led the Moon Troupe in the Takarazuka Revue's 1993 production of "Grand Hotel." Tommy Tune was invited to direct and choreograph this Takarazuka version, which went on to win high acclaim. The Takarazuka Revue has invited Tommy Tune, who won the Special Tony Award at the 69th Tony Awards in 2015 for his many years of achievement, to serve as special supervisor as "Grand Hotel" returns to the stage at the outset of 2017, when the Moon Troupe's top star, Tamaki Ryou, will make her Takarazuka Revue debut.

The Asuka period. In a school opened by the Buddhist priest Sōmin who has returned from studying abroad in China, amongst the sons of the nobility studying the continent's latest culture and disciplines, two young men are in attendance who will come to play a big part in upending an era.
