A young princess falls in love with the castle's young music teacher, Roger Fleuirot, but he is shy and does not dare to show his love for her. When the music teacher goes to Paris, the princess follows him and pretends to be her own twin sister, who works in a shoe shop. Nils Poppe plays the cheerful shoemaker Fabian Filosel.

Then the great mafia boss Don Calzone shows up and claims ownership of the theater. Hector bet the theater in a game of poker, and lost. Now the two candidates, together with their lawyers and the others, must find Hector's will to see who he wanted as his successor. Amidst all this, love stories, madness and misunderstandings unfold - all while the theater's existence is in danger.

Play performed at Fredriksdalsteatern in 1999, based on Hurra, ein Junge by Arnold and Bach. It was originally performed in Swedish with Nils Poppe, but when Eva Rydberg took over, a new production was created.
