Memoirs

What's a girl to do when her biological clock is ticking, yet marriage and a husband are the furthest thing from her mind? SILENT MEN follows the trials and tribulations of one very modern-minded young woman, Patricia, as she tries to plan out her motherhood. Once the ad ran in the "personals" you'd think that Lana (Daphna Kastner) would just sit back and choose from the young men who'd come calling. Well, think again! Unfortunately for Lana, she encounters Marty (Clark Gregg), a cocky, beer-guzzling plumber who is sent to Lana's address by mistake. He thinks he's stumbled upon a beautiful young business woman's attempts to seduce him. And she thinks he's the doctor that responded to her ad - although, with his tool kit in hand and his name printed on his shirt, he's a bit different than what she imagined. When the real doctor calls, life for Lana becomes even more complicated. What follows is a hilarious adventure of failed romance and twisted human relationships. Will Lana get her pipes checked? Will Marty get his tool kit back? Does it really pay to advertise?

The film weaves the tale of Louie B., a hapless cowboy who thinks the world would be a better place if strangers would kiss each other more often. After a run-in with a band of crooks headed by Stacey, Louie goes blind. He is taken in by Billie Jean - a tough-love prostitute, and her colleagues - who are as gay as they are straight. What follows is a fabulously eclectic look into the life of an East Hollywood, Heydy Fleiss-style bordello for the working man, whose goal it is to liberate heterosexual social mores.

Strictly Spanking is a gothic, suburban tale about the disastrous sexual awakening of a young woman.

In this offbeat relationship comedy, Robert (Frank Bruynbroek) and Alexandra (Melissa White) are a couple who were once married, but things didn't work out and in time they chose to separate; Robert is now married to Suzie (Lori Eastside) and Alexandra has wed Ted (Dick Monday). But a very large spanner is thrown into the works when Robert learns his late, eccentric, and very wealthy Uncle Leopold has willed them 23 million dollars. There is, of course, a catch -- before Robert and Alexandra can get the money, they have to conceive and give birth to a healthy child within a year. Given that there will be enough money to go around for everyone, Robert and Alexandra decide to give it a try, which doesn't ease any of the tensions in their old relationships -- or make things run any smoother in their new relationships. Love and Greed (aka Love $ Greed) also features David Charles and Ivan Roth.
