In response to climate change and rising consumer demand, scientists engineered a GMO seed and a specialized fertilizer to grow edible, durable, and fast-growing vegetables in forests. However, their experiment took a disastrous turn when the plant mutated into a monstrous predator, endangering human lives.

After reconnecting through a phone call, Justin, an analog filmmaker, and Grace, a frustrated poet, reminisce about the day they first met — a day that Justin tries to recreate from memory.

Trapped and lost in a crowded metropolis, the grief navigates its way to find its missing owner in order to travel back to its home.
