A group of vignettes about men, mostly married, scheming to get women and the funny ways the schemes play out.

When this really comes to the village, everything happens, but as in Cinderella's fable, Claudio Villa falls in love with the seventh daughter, who is actually a child, and everything settles.

Unfortunately his wet nurse Maria loses his son in the garden. Totò doesn't lose heart and rents Rita's daughter and leaves looking for his son. Many adventures are awaiting for him.
