The Diary of a Sex Counsellor

Second film in the long-running series Daiei Studio's Woman Gambler with Kyoko Enami starring where she plays the woman gambler Ogin. In a fierce gambling den where rough men clash like sparks, two female gamblers vie for the same man in a high-stakes, best-of-seven showdown—from which only one will emerge victorious. Amid the tense atmosphere, Natsue, a highly skilled card dealer, gracefully reveals her hand with the flick of her slender fingers. At that precise moment, across the table, Takiko’s face goes ashen—she’s just lost the fateful game her lover had wagered his fortune on. The next day, Takiko and her boyfriend attempt a double suicide in despair, but she survives alone. Consumed by twisted emotions toward Natsue, a man named Isobe manipulates Takiko. Under his influence, Takiko seduces Tagami—who is Natsue’s fiancé—setting the stage for a dangerous and tangled web of love, revenge, and deceit.

Expelled from school, she comes to Tokyo, intending to take a round-the-world trip. But Sankichi (Yoshihiko Aoyama), a jack-of-all-trades, cheats her. So, she makes up her mind to catch him and get back her money.

In the closing days of WWII, a Japanese soldier afflicted with tuberculosis is abandoned by his company and left to wander the Philippine island of Leyte.

A romantic comedy depicting the variant and whimsical daily lives of the Japanese mademoiselles in the Metropolis of Tokyo. How they react against the bold spirited love makers and begin to take a liking to them is the theme of the picture.

Performing every night for an audience of male admirers, cabaret singer Yuri captures the attention of Yoshio Tsugawa, a motorcycle salesman who becomes hopelessly enchanted by the unattainable star. In his desperation to win her favor, Yoshio deceives his own customers to support Yuri’s glamorous lifestyle, ultimately ending up imprisoned for embezzlement.

Ide of the Kokusai Rayon Company visits a supermarket and finds cheap shirts being passed off as his company's products. But a closer look reveals that the last letter of "Kokusai" has been changed to "n" and reads "Kokusan." The buyers, however, are all under the impression that they are buying Kokusai shirts. Ide begins an investigation to find out where the shirts are being made, but before he is able to uncover anything, he is killed on a train and his little black book, filled with secret data, is stolen. Sugino then starts a one-man search for both the killer and the factory turning out the cheap shirts.
