Omer and Carine move restlessly from place to place and keep their heads above water with tournaments at the pool table. Both are on the run from their past: Omer as an African refugee, Frenchwoman Carine as an ex-junkie who was in danger of sinking into the drug scene. Now the couple have ended up in Berlin, where Omer senses a big coup: he wants to challenge the notorious billiards player Sultan to a tournament. With the winnings from this match, he and Carine could finally move on and perhaps even fulfill Carine's dream of opening a beach bar. But things turn out differently, because the shady Sultan has also devised a plan to pull the wool over Omer's eyes.

In the summer of 2018, novelist Tanja Arnheim and web designer Jerome Daimler have a seemingly ideal long-distance relationship in the heat of Berlin, the idyll of an inherited bungalow in the Hessian Main Valley and many train journeys in between. But the carefully cultivated balance of trust and detachment between the two hyper-reflective millennials is shaken when Tanja realizes on the night of her thirtieth birthday that the relationship could become existential.

Follows filmmaker and actress, Maryam Zaree, on her quest to find out the violent circumstances surrounding her birth inside one of the most notorious political prisons in the world.

Martha, Yasmin, Jamie and Sam live in a shared apartment in Kreuzberg. Martha is from France, Yasmin from Germany, Jamie from the U.S. and Sam from Cameroon. They sit in their kitchen, cook for each other and dance together. But, compared to his flatmates, Sam left his country, because he needed to take refuge. The camera subtly catches the inequity that evolves between the four characters. Club Europe is a film about millennials who want to act more supportive and altruistic than their parents and need to face the question how far they really want to go in order to help.
