Film-monologue of a young guy, demobilized military service, establishing life "in civilian life". A person recalls how well he served in the army, talks about the present day, about his family, about his son, about working in a factory, about drinking, fishing, friends and acquaintances.

The film is the impression of the film's authors, obtained from meeting people who live in villages located along the railway line in the Novgorod region. Trains do not run on this road. Bread is delivered only once a week.

The picture is about the outstanding Russian artist of the late XIX - early XX century, a representative of Russian impressionism Konstantin Korovin. The main motif of the film is the hero's monologue, memories of events and people of the past life: about childhood, about friends and teachers, artists V. Serov, M. Vrubel, A. Savrasov, I. Levitan, S. Mamontov. The film uses both unique old photographs and original shooting material, which allows you to feel the complex inner world of the hero, his impressions and associations.

The painting has the subtitle "Princess M. Tenisheva", and tells about what it was like for Maria Klavdievna to create an art center in Talashkino, Smolensk province, the main goal of which was both the revival of national applied art and the formation of the "Russian Art Nouveau" style. At the beginning of the twentieth century, the Center brought together many prominent Russian artists, musicians, and sculptors. The names of Roerich, Serov, Malyutin, Vrubel, Repin, Trubetskoy, Korovin, Prakhov and many others are associated with Talashkino.

A film about the composer Sergei Prokofiev. Outwardly, the happy fate of the actor in the film seems deeply tragic in essence. By means of fiction and documentary films, the author of the film tries to penetrate into the inner world of the artist, to show the contradiction and tragedy of the creative and human personality. The style of the picture is original, the pictorial range is exquisite.
