We Don't Hold Hands

An offbeat NYC dog walker fears that one of her clients-a dog-might be in danger. As the owner’s behavior towards the pet and and the dog walker worsens, she must decide whether to protect the dog or herself.

This LGBTQ+ film grapples with the subject of coming out. The director wanted to show how someone might deal with a personal crisis amidst a global crisis. As a queer woman, she sought to portray the fear and anxiety around coming out in an authentic, subtle way. It's not easy and it's almost never the right time, but before coming out, we must first accept ourselves.
