Aburao, the son of a troupe dancer, has grown-up to become a brilliant clown. His talent brings him fame but also alienates him from his ideals and his loved ones.

The movie tells the story of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, known mainly for his contributions in shaping the Constitution of India, as the chairman of the Drafting Committee of the Indian Constituent Assembly. He dedicated his life to fight against the evils of untouchability.

Hindurao is forced to make a final decision about him after he finds out that Master has been inquiring about a missing army officer named Maruti Kamble.

A story centered on a Nagya who is a drummer having a passion for being a "pure one" (punyavant). He meets Chindhi, who has abandoned her husband as she considers him useless.

Kumar Gandharva or Shivaputra Siddharamayya Komkalimath was a Hindustani classical singer, well known for his unique vocal style and his refusal to be bound by the tradition of any gharana.
