Pedro is about to be appointed a judge of the supreme court Spanish, but a call announces the death of his grandmother in Venezuela and its subsequent inheritance. This news forces him to "take suitcases", never imagining that this country change the way you see life, justice and love.

During the armed uprisings of the sixties in Venezuela, a young guerrilla woman has to give birth in secret. To her surprise, her daughter is the first to be born on Mother's Day and photos appear in the press. Since then, both have to flee. Disguises, false names are the hiding places and the daily life of CHICA, the narrator of this story. Together with her cousin TEO, they reinvent the adventures of their guerrilla fathers, building a fantastic labyrinth of superheroes and strategies around armed subversion, where you never know where reality or madness begins. But the children's game cannot hide the death, torture, accusations and betrayals that live inside the guerrilla.

On April 11th of 2002 a coup d'état against the venezuelan president Hugo Chávez Frías kept the country in a state of total uncertainty regarding his whereabouts, two days later he returned to power. This is a chronicle of those days.

CHUO (23) is a young Down syndrome, that wants to be treated as an adult man; which creates a constant confrontation with his father JOSÉ (45), a frustrated percussionist, refugee in the drink, not knowing how to handle the demand for love of his special child. While CHUO wins performing spaces so that his father loves him, José increasingly rejected him. However, CHUO not cease in its efforts and is in the music, the way to win the love of his father.

"Hijos de la tierra" presents a drama set a little before the 1920s, in which scattered news, stories and rumors spread the presence of a new wealth, oil, leading to the suspicion that a great change was about to take place.
