Raffa in the Sky

The Choir and Orchestra of the La Fenice Theatre, conducted by Fabio Luisi, take over Piazza San Marco in Venice for a grandiose concert. Facing the basilica, the musicians perform the famous cantata "Carmina burana", twenty-four medieval poems set to music by Carl Orff between 1935 and 1936.

From the sumptuous setting of St. Mark's Square in Venice, the Orchestra and Choir of La Fenice tackle Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, conducted by maestro Juraj Valcuha.

This 2026 production of La Traviata at the Arena di Verona uses a “Moulin Rouge”-inspired Paris setting, blending the Belle Époque atmosphere with a glamorous, period-pop look, while keeping the focus on Violetta’s emotional and social drama.
